To us, he seemed like a regular actor that played a phenomenal role. However, this man was already a phenomenal person that had pushed himself to complete the roles within his acting career while fighting a battle within, to lay down a legacy that could be seen in a short amount of time he had left.
Chadwick Boseman, had passed away at the age of 43 due to an inner battle he had faced without allowing anyone else outside of his family circle to know. The inner battle was colon cancer, which had taken up to 4 years to defeat him. Knowing he was diagnosed with this, he pushed himself to complete 4 very popular films that would satisfy the public for many years and onto the future. He graduated from Howard University while providing a speech that explained his success and his entire journey that all started after he had left the university. [you can watch the speech below]
As he started his acting career, he had starred as leading roles in movies such as the one on “Get on Up” as well as “42”. The people he played as in these movies were motivated people that were pent up on reaching a goal towards the end of the movie. Chadwick had resembled these characters since he himself was motivated to play as these characters and develop his acting in very popular movies that satisfy the public. He later on broke grown as T’Challa in an African American Marvel movie known as “Black Panther” in which the movie had made 3 billion after being released. His acting roles were highly regarded as great work all the while he was secretly battling cancer and didn't want any of the public to realize.
Chadwick was a man that simply aspired to become a great actor that could influence the public and teach them that the road to success can be rocky, but it's always rewarding once you reach the end. Even after being diagnosed with cancer, his wishes were to still film these movies and make the public happy regardless of putting his own health and relaxation first. Hence, the lost of the famous African American actor, Chadwick Boseman, had taught us that many people could be fighting inner battles all the while pushing themselves to help others beforehand, as he had put the public's needs before his own, making him a very tenacious person that could be understood and related to while witnessing the legacy he has left.
